Is this diamond ring too expensive?
I went today to helzberg diamonds, and They showed me an engagement ring.

The tag price there is 1499.99
Also they have a 4prong band white 18k gold cathedral for 329.99
Which will put me at around 1900.00 after the 99.99 dollar lifetime warranty. The diamond did look nice, saw very faint yellow, and overall thought it did look nice based upon the look on the 6 prong ring it was displayed on. I will go tomorrow and ask to see it loose.
Is this newb getting taken advantage of, or based upon the specs, is it a good deal.
Or do you think I can take a few dollars off? If so how many should I shoot for? Thanks

So to me, those diamonds seem cheaper than what you are being offered, by several hundred dollars.
