Mosaic Tiles and art have been used for thousands of years and was used to adorn the most grand of buildings. The Romans were renowned for their mosaic style of art and there are pages of history that document’s Mosaic Tile art through the ages.
Mosaic Tiles are now incredibly popular with home owners because it gives them the opportunity to express their creative design and choose their own design style that is unique for them. Mosaic art is created from different materials and are basically very small tiles made from materials such as Glass, ceramic and porcelain.

Glass mosaics can be used as liberally or as minimalistic as you like and the choice is purely a personal one. Mosaic Tiles also come in a wide variety of other materials such as natural stone, ceramic and even metal and it is really up to you and your individual design, when choosing the correct one. The internet is a good place to find suppliers and you can get some really good information and design ideas. Mosaic tiles can really be anything you want them to be but if you are concerned about completely creating your own design with individual tiles, there is the option for the pre made mosaic art which is done for you, except for the installation of the tiles. Always be true to your personal preferences and combine your mosaic tiles with any existing decor.
Also remember that darker colours will make smaller rooms appear smaller and in general pastel colours are better. Larger rooms can carry off more elaborate design and you may want to install mosaic tiles in different places in the bathroom.
