Hmmm, I’m thinking you are talking about the “service stripes” that signify every four years of honorable service for enlisted Marines. If that is correct then the answer is it is placed on the sleeve lower scarlet point of the stripe will meet the point of the piping of the cuff and angled at 30 degrees to the bottom of the sleeve. Succeeding stripes will be 1/8 inch above and parallel to the next lower stripe.
