Lampworking/Glassblowing?
Hello,
I’ve recently become very interested in lampworking and glass blowing. I’m somewhat confused though. I’ve been trying to find a difference between the two and have come to the conclusion that maybe lamp working is for smaller stuff? Like beads? And you need two people to do glass blowing, as to you need 1 to do lampworking?
I’d like to do work with a torch. I would like to make beads, but I’d also like to make things like small vases, figurines, christmas ornaments, small cups. etc. Now is this glass blowing, or lamp working?? Am I able to do those things with a torch?
Sorry if this makes no sense. I’ve been reading on different websites and am still new at trying to learn these things. I will be purchasing the Glassblowing Bible soon, and am signing up for classes. But in the mean time I’m trying to learn as much as I can.
Any knowledge you may have on the topic would be great!
