What do you think of this as a way to propose?
My gf and I both enjoy wine and she wants to get married in a vineyard.
I had an idea to either take her out on a picnic with some wine and cheese to romantic location or out to a nice dinner but I want to surprise her with the ring. I found a glassblowing place that makes everything from decorative pieces to dinnerware etc so I had the idea to have a regular wine glass made but I want to have the ring slid onto the stem while they are making it (like a wine glass charm). I am hoping she doesn’t notice it until she takes a sip of wine and then see’s it through the wine then I will break off the stem and take the ring off and propose to her.
Kristy: I want her to wonder how the ring got on the wine glass and when I tell her I had the glass made around the ring, it will be that much more special. Anyone can tie a ring onto a glass. There is nothing creative about that.
Perhaps I could have them slip the secret glass to her after a couple glasses of wine?
