Does rock candy have to be made in a GLASS jar?
Or can it be made in a plastic cup? Or something plastic? Does it really have to be glass? If so, why?
Can you makin it plastic cups? I am trying to make rock candy with my daughter and the kids I watch, and I don’t want to do it in glass around them in case it falls and shatters. So does it re~eally have to be done in glass?
It doesn’t matter…the only thing that matters is that the water evaporates. Plastic is perfect.
Glass is only used so that you can see the process.
